It is wonderful to return home to coolness and freshness of Tasmania.
The whole of winter is upon us and there is nothing I love more more than being in my little cabin warm and cosy.
To summarise my trip, although very enjoyable, selling my work on the road is not feasible to live off and that was the point of the trip, however, heat is another problem for me. In a small space that heats up from driving as well as the sun make it uncomfortable for sleep.
I found meeting people a bit illusive as well, people were tending to stick together, not much conversation beyond the hello.
I’ll be off to my favoured place for some grounding and peace.

in the quiet bush where rivers wind, lives a gentle soul with a peaceful mind. His hands strong, yet soft with care, creating beauty from earth & air. He felt the wool with patient grace, each fiber shaped, a tender embrace, from fleece to form, his art unfolds, in every touch a story told.

A GOOD YARN .
She knits the wool with grace & care, each loop a story there, Of ancient craft & hearts untold, her fingers spin the softest gold. She shapes the world with needles flight, with wool, she draws the day from night, A makers soul, both wild & free, she is the knitter of Destiny.
